Denton’s Kiwanis Fireworks Show!

Since 1972 the Denton Noon Kiwanis Club has presented the 4th of July Fireworks Show. Parking is $10 per carload and entry into Apogee Stadium is FREE. No outside drinks are allowed inside the stadium, however, a variety of concessions will be available for purchase. There will be a children’s activity area as well as live bands performing before the fireworks begin.
All proceeds from the event are used to fund the many youth services that the Denton Noon Kiwanis Club supports, including the Denton Kiwanis Club Children’s Clinic, which has been providing free medical, dental and prescription services to children in Denton County since 1923.
The event is FREE, but donations are gladly accepted by our energetic “Bucket Brigade” before, during and after the show.
The Denton Kiwanis Presents the 4th of July Fireworks Show. Gates open at 6 p.m. Parking in all lots is $10. NO outside food or drinks inside the stadium. A variety of concessions will be available for purchase. NO lawn chairs are allowed in the stadium.
Cost: $25 per person by July 1
The entry fee includes a race tech shirt (S-XXL.) 6:30 a.m. check-in; 7:30 a.m., race begins. Race day registration is $30 per person. Packet pick up is July 3 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
July 4, Downtown Denton
8:30 a.m. judging, 9 a.m., parade begins
Entry forms will be available by June 1.
The 4th of July Yankee Doodle Parade will start its route beginning at the Hickory-Locust corner of the Square and going around all the way to the Civic Center.
Parade will begin at 9 a.m. Watch from your lawn chair, decked out in red, white and blue, for this patriotic parade!
Denton Civic Center and Quakertown Park
Families are invited for free family fun! Enjoy an adult horseshoe tournament, free kid’s carnival games, hot dog eating competition and much more! 9 a.m to noon.
