Bring your blankets, lawn chairs and the whole family to help celebrate Independence Day 2017 at Plano’s All-American Fourth! Free parking and admission available at Collin College, Plano Centre and First United Methodist Church. Prime viewing area is from the hill at Collin College and from the church. Spring Creek Parkway will be closed at Parker and Jupiter at 4:00 p.m. Fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m. Tune in to 97.5 KLAK for music simulcast with the annual 4th fireworks display. Ye Old Butcher Shop and Kona Ice will offer concessions for purchase.

 

5:00 pm – Enjoy dinning with a variety of food trucks on site
7:30 pm – Pre-fireworks music with live DJ
9:30 pm – Stupendous Fireworks Show with live music simulcast on 97.5 KLAK

Patriotic Pops Chorus

The Plano Symphony Orchestra, led by Maestro Hector Guzman, will present an entertaining and inspiring tribute to America at the Eisemann Center at 3:00 PM on July 4th.

Patriotic selections will include: God Bless America, Tribute to American Cinema, America the Beautiful, Favorite Sousa Marches, Salute to the Armed Forces, Big Band Bash as well as honor our country and the people dedicated to preserving our freedom! Joining the Plano Symphony will be the Patriotic Pops Chorus, composed of experienced choral singers from the Plano Civic Chorus and other choral groups throughout the North Texas area. Join us!
